Upon arrival, Seabourn offers transport service from the Athens airport to the cruise ship. (Free if you book your air through the cruise line, arriving today.) If you have never been to Athens and want to see the sites, you will have the chance, as our cruise itinerary make a mid-cruise stop back in Athens for a full day of sightseeing its legendary sites. Piraeus has been the port for Athens since 482 BC. The busy harbor is filled with ferries and cruise ships making their way to the Greek Islands and other Mediterranean cities. The busy metropolis of Athens and its treasure trove of antiquities lie just a few miles from the port. Even as the reality of the modern city took hold, with its high-rise apartments, crowded sidewalks and bustling traffic, the beauty of the Acropolis, the outstanding museums, charming cafés, sidewalk markets and startling views come together in a cultural mosaic for all to enjoy.

The attractive Venetian harbor is surrounded by restaurants, outdoor cafes and clusters of shops selling everything from necessities to souvenirs. The ship docks in the center of town, and you are able to wander at will and enjoy the atmosphere of Crete's foremost resort.

Arrives 8:00 am Departs 5:00 pm Symi town harbor is tucked into one of the island’s many corrugated coves, many of which enfold sand beaches. The island is located just offshore of the Turkish coast in the Dodecanese chain near Rhodes. The harbor is fronted by ranks of unusually colorful neoclassical houses, and steps lead to the upper town of Ano Symi and the requisite Kastro. The Monastery of Archangel Michael Panormitis is an important pilgrimage site for the Greek Orthodox adherents and boasts a likewise unusually colorful and elaborate bell tower. The town has thirteen major churches and dozens of chapels, many dating to the Byzantine era of its multifaceted history. Also in the harbor is a War Memorial with a bas relief of an ancient trireme fronted by a Dove of Peace.

Jul 24, 2026 Kusadasi (Ephesus), Turkey Arrives 8:00 am Departs 11:00 pm Kusadasi, which means "bird island," is set in a superb gulf known for its sparkling water, broad sandy beaches and large marina. The city has managed to retain a certain earthiness while doing a brisk trade in Turkish carpets and leather goods to visitors. The town's old quarter is a picturesque maze of winding streets and houses adorned with flowers and birdcages. In the center stands a 17th-century caravanserai, now converted into a hotel. Evening Orchestral Concert
Book THIS CRUISE Early to receive this Here's a magical evening in the utterly compelling setting of Ancient Ephesus. For passengers who book this cruise early, you will be treated to the extraordinary experience of classical music in a private setting among the ruins of this incredible UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Following an early dinner on board the ship, depart the pier for the approximately 30-minute coach ride to the upper gate of Ephesus. Upon your arrival at the site, refreshments and drinks are served at elegant bistro tables set out along an ancient marble road.
Then, make your way to the Odeon Theatre, exclusively reserved for Seabourn guests. Constructed in the 2nd century AD, the theatre served as a space for political meetings, social events, and theatrical performances. Seated on the ancient stones in the very same theatre as the citizens of Ancient Ephesus, enjoy this mind-blowing evening and other-worldly atmosphere, listening to a chamber orchestra's repertoire of beautiful classical music.
After an amazing evening that you will never forget, we will re-board Seabourn’s included transportation for the 30-minute drive back to our ship in Kusadasi.
Duration of this evening event is approx. 3 hours including the 30 minute transport each way. Please note: Terrain includes even and uneven surfaces, cobblestones, inclines, gravel, grass, and unevenly worn steps with no handrails. Cushions are provided for comfort. Wear sturdy, non-skid walking shoes. Another picturesque ruin is the Forty Saints Monastery from the 6th century, which is thought to have been an important pilgrimage site.
