Friday – We will be picked up at our cruise ship and enjoy a private city tour of Quebec city.

Get to know Québec City and its top attractions on this entertaining and educational guided sightseeing tour and enjoy the view, with a live commentary of interesting facts and stories from an expert guide who knows this historic Canadian city inside and out. Learn about the past, present and future of Québec City, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, as the coach rolls along from one location to the next.

Explore Old Québec, the historic heart of French Canada and the capital of the province of Québec, with its narrow streets, stone buildings, and European feel. Learn about the city's history and culture while rolling past attractions like the Fortifications of Québec, Citadelle of Québec, Notre-Dame-des-Victoires Church and many more.

Visit Place Royale, often referred to as the birthplace of French America, and the beautiful Plains of Abraham, where the famous Battle of Québec between the French and English armies took place in the Seven Years’ War in 1759. Also, enjoy views of picturesque Place d'Armes and take photos of the towering Fairmont Le Château Frontenac, Canada’s most-beloved hotel.

At the end of our tour, we will be dropped off at our four star hotel in the heart of Quebec City where the remainder of the afternoon is at your leisure.

Saturday – Today we will enjoy a tour to the beautiful Montmorency Falls with a stop at a delicious chocolate shop for imported Belgian chocolates.

Follow Avenue Royale through the traditional villages and farms of the Beaupre Coast, approximately 15 minutes north of Quebec City. Visit Montmorency Falls, an 83-meter-high waterfall on the Montmorency River (which is approx. 250 feet high and it is 90 feet higher than Niagara Falls), and we will visit the legendary Basilica of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré, where many a miracle has occurred.

Additional stops include the Chocolaterie de l'Ile d'Orléans, with 24 flavors of ice cream during the summer season and a wide variety of chocolates made from only the finest ingredients imported from Belgium.

 At the Cuivres D'Art Albert Gilles, learn about the art of embossing copper, visit two museums and stop by the gift shop for a souvenir.
 
The tour lasts approx. four and one half hours and ends with drop off back in the center of Quebec City for the remainder of the afternoon free to further explore its charming sites and attractions. 

You may wish this afternoon to take a ride on the Hop on Hop off double decker open top bus which offers you the chance to stop where you want for as long as you want to explore at your own pace.

 

Sunday Sept. 13th – Today our trip ends and passengers can book a transport to the Quebec City airport.
